Why This Website

We created this website to provide information in the field of natural health practices, to help educate and aid those interested in growing food, while maintaining their health.
We compile and unify multiple, reliable resources for each topic onto a single page, so readers can gather adequate information quickly and effortlessly.
We are eager to share our wealth of knowledge with you, so keep browsing and share your thoughts with us when necessary.
Our philosophy is to respect an individual’s lifestyle choice, while supporting the least invasive methods of maintenance. We represent a forum of alternative philosophies and techniques, necessary to promote balanced living, with the prevention of disease in our families and community, that are not easily found through traditional informational channels. We work tirelessly to supply information and promote legislation, designed to protect the rights of the general public.
It is our ultimate goal to ensure that product information posted on our web site, is accurate and correct. However, occasionally manufacturers may alter their facts without prior notice, therefore we strongly recommend that you do not solely rely on the information presented and always read directions, labels and product warnings before using or consuming any product.
As we continue to work at getting out of the “loop,” by the “loop” I mean, the grind or rat race, which is constantly grounded into us, for example;
Local-ism means; helping each other.
Different people will become involved at different times and it is literally a process of re-programming one’s self. We chose to disconnect ourselves from the satellite broadcast company in 2008 and have found that we are just as aware of what is going on without hearing it non-stop from the talking heads and their spin on the "boob tube." We managed to cultivate the gardens, for healthier food to sustain us. Our lifestyle did not change much, however it became increasingly apparent how market foods, have become corrupt and continue to spiral out of control, without regard to the consequences of our health, inclusive their own.
Dr. Don Huber, an agricultural scientist and expert in microbial ecology, has issued stern warnings about the devastating effects of genetically engineered food crops, (GMO) after discovering a brand new organism in GE animal feed. This organism has since been clearly linked to infertility and miscarriage in cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, poultry and humans. This ingredient, Glyphosate, is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup and this new-to-science microbes, are now linked to a new phenomenon referred to as, “Sudden Death Syndrome” (SDS)
The herbicides and pesticides in GE foods are metal chelators, which immobilize specific nutrients rendering them unavailable to the plant and any animal or human who consumes that plant, therefore the nutritional efficiency of genetically engineered (GE) plants are profoundly compromised. Micro-nutrients such as iron, manganese and zinc can be reduced by as much as 80-90 percent in GE plants. Genetically modified food is one of the great opinion-dividers of our time. Some argue that GM foods will damage the environment and human health.

Monsanto's application of this model to agriculture, along with a growing movement to create a global, uniform system of plant breeders' rights in the 1980s, came into direct conflict with customary practices of farmers to save, reuse, share and develop plant varieties. Its seed patenting model has also been criticized as biopiracy and a threat to biodiversity.

"If we take time to cultivate nutrient dense soil and look at growing food from a long term perspective, toxic chemicals aren’t needed at all and we would all be healthier for it! Presently, we cannot rely on big business to do this. Organic standards are consistently dwindling. And whether or not GMO foods get labeled, we need to take back our health, stand up to big agriculture business and start growing our own food, or support small local farmers, we know and trust...
By making a conscious effort not to purchase commercial food products and becoming a self-sufficient consumer, this practice will weaken their empire! The more you can take care of yourselves, the less you need them."

As we continue to work at getting out of the “loop,” by the “loop” I mean, the grind or rat race, which is constantly grounded into us, for example;
- We must work 40+ hours per week somewhere, outside the home and away from our families,
- We must have cable, satellite T.V., two car payments, a mortgage, lots of bills, etc.,
- No time for enjoying God’s gifts and family,
- Lots of stress and a never ending treadmill of getting up the next day, to do it all over again!

The organic food industry sees a huge opportunity in telling consumers, about what's in their food. Few consumers think about the pesticides and hormones in conventional foods, without the organic alternative to remind them. Similarly, genetically modified crops have become so prevalent in the U.S. and chances are, you've been buying and eating them for years! You just wouldn't know it from the label.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, unlike agencies in Europe and Japan, do not require GM foods to be labeled. While scientists have not identified any specific health risks from eating GM foods, anti-GM activists say, there is not enough research yet into their long-term risks, or impact on biodiversity.
Organic food is by definition... to be free of genetically modified material and organic crops are required to be isolated from other crops. By telling consumers loud and clear, which products are GM-free, natural-food producers will give them one more reason to choose Natural.
