Completing Another Seed House
We reside on a small farm in central Florida, a home to a variety of fauna and flora, but specialize in growing common to rare varieties of medicinal, culinary herbs, fruits and vegetables in completely covered greenhouses, we designed and constructed. These structures assist in the prevention of rain and air pollutants, absorbed by our plant material and soil. Because we eat, drink and use everything we produce and grow, our soil is irrigated by a filtered, Artesian Aquifer, to aid in the purity of NATURALLY GROWN.
As committed practicing Herbalists and Natural Horticulturist, we operate a naturally processed and regenerative system, that is focused on soil health and the integration of plants and animals. It is structured so that the waste of one part becomes the energy for another, resulting in the increase of the lands capacity for self-renewal. This practice seeks to generate a system, that enhances its needs from the living dynamics of the land. Ultimately, these practices will provide the land with a healthy ecosystem and in return, we and other organisms are rewarded with vital goods and services. This requires that the land be regenerative, rather than degenerative.
This practice is rooted in the system of agriculture that calls for a new philosophy, in every aspect of the food system from how the land is owned, to how it is capitalized and most importantly, how our food is produced, distributed and prepared. This is a vital social value of Natural Farming, that does not depend on the mining of the earth’s natural resources, but instead support it.
This method of agriculture that seeks to actively work with the health-giving forces of nature, is the oldest non-chemical agricultural movement. It predates the Natural Order of Practice in the agricultural movement and has now, spread throughout the world. Natural Farming practices incorporate an understanding of the “dynamic” forces in nature, that are not fully understood by science. As we work resourcefully with these subtle energies, we are able to significantly enhance the health of our soil, the quality and flavor of our food, which is needed for optimal health and survival.

Setting
We define Natural farming to include the essential elements of organisms, soil fertility management, crop protection, greenhouse management and animal welfare. Biological diversity within the farm landscape, is emphasized by the required ten percent of the total farm acreage, which is set-aside as a preserve. This minimum space may include intentionally planted in-sectaries.
To improve the consistency in crop rotation, perennial planting is required and no crop can be planted in the same field for more than two years in succession. Bare tillage year round is prohibited to maintain an adequate green cover. Our standards instruct that the foundation of the fertility system and strategies for disease, insect and weed control, must originate from the farm itself.
Fertility is generated by the integration of compost and green manure, nutrient catch crops, careful crop rotation and livestock. Disease and insect control are addressed through botanical species predator habitat, balanced crop nutrition and attention to light penetration and airflow. Weed control emphasizes prevention, including timing of planting, mulching, identifying and avoiding the spread of invasive weed species. We recognize that the whole earth is a single, self-regulating, multidimensional ecosystem, therefore we fashion our farm as a self-regulating ecological unit, in order to bring health to the land, to all organisms and to ourselves.

We do not purchase any seeds from the agribusinesses involved in genetic modification of plants and any other food source.
As always, we will strive to supply the best varieties and encourage our customers to be good stewards of the soil, while promoting gardening and self-sufficiency.
We adhere to the principles of the Safe Seed Pledge and provide a variety of seeds that will grow well, in many zones.

Hibiscus Sabdariffa
"We believe everyone is responsible for their lives and their actions; We do have the will to make changes for the better. If people knew more about their true origins, they would realize that we are all one big family having a shared destiny on this planet. By shifting our focus from the short-term to the long term, many problems could be averted and general happiness would rise.
We have met people from all walks of life throughout our travels and given the chance, people in general are good, especially if shown respect and dignity. The next few decades are critical in the long-term evolution of our lives on this planet and we are happy to be alive at this significant point in history."
